Job Scopes
Overseeing all accounting operations (Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory
Accounting, and Revenue Recognition).
Coordinating and directing budget preparation and financial forecasts; reporting
variances.
Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
Managing compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements
and tax filings.
Develop and Implement Financial Strategies: Work closely with the CEO and executive
team to formulate long-term financial strategies that align with the company’s overall
objectives.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify and evaluate financial risks, including market,
credit, operational, and liquidity risks. Develop and implement strategies to mitigate
these risks.
Capital Allocation: Make decisions on capital allocation to ensure optimal use of the
company’s financial resources. Prioritize investments that align with strategic objectives
and provide the best returns.
Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to
strengthen internal controls.
Attending company events to build relationships and promote financial initiatives.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; a
Master’s degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA) is preferred.
Proven experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in a managerial
role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and IFRS.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple
tasks and deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate
effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Experience with budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance related to financial reporting
and tax filings.
Ability to develop and implement effective business processes and internal controls.
Leadership abilities to manage and motivate a team, and to drive continuous
improvement initiatives.
Working hours: Monday to Saturday; 10am to 7pm.
