Our client is one of the biggest Container Freight Station (CFS) Warehouse Operators in both Northport and Westport in handling and provides storage to duty-unpaid goods, which mainly are fast turnaround cargo for both local and transshipment.

Being in the industry for close to 20 years, they have now expanded to have Covered Warehouse area of 100,000 feet (ft2). They also have their in-house Custom Forwarding Division due to they constantly have to work very closely with the Local Port Authority (PKA) and Royal Customs of Malaysia in ensuring hassle-free operations.

Aside from that, they also have other business divisions/ partners in handling the cargo transferring, and door delivery cargoes from all over the world.

Job Scopes

• Responsible for day to day forwarding related matters in order to meet the Customer demands.
• Coordinate the import-export operations, customs clearance, delivery, pick-up, and warehousing.
• Well versed in handling Customs clearance operation including EDI data entry (K1, K2, K3, K8, K9, DG, ZB, and FSPG).

• Need to attend the Custom examination and any related matters import and export.
• Attend to Cargo delivery and attend to daily loading and unloading issues.
• Ensure the “On Time Delivery” for Import and Export to meet Customer requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all rules and regulations of Customs and other government agencies.
• Handling and managing the temporary import-export procedures such as BG, ATA, Carnet, and etc.
• Handling matters related to HS Code, Duty,
• Tax computation & Exemption, DG, ZB, OOG, BG Drawback and COO (Form E, D, and etc).

Job Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Office software;
• At least 3 years of working experience in Freight Forwarding/ Forwarding industry.
• Basic communication in English is acceptable!
• Education Level: SPM Holder and above!
• Good coordination, planning, and organization in carrying out daily duties and responsibilities with high integrity and interpersonal skills.
• A flexible, team worker with pleasant, positive attitude.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and able to deal with regularly conflicting priorities.
• Good understanding of Logistic concepts and able to demonstrated logistic solutions offering and value-added propositions offering.
