About
Our client is one of the biggest Container Freight Station (CFS) Warehouse Operators in both Northport and Westport in handling and provides storage to duty-unpaid goods, which mainly are fast turnaround cargo for both local and transshipment.
Being in the industry for close to 20 years, they have now expanded to have Covered Warehouse area of 100,000 feet (ft2). They also have their in-house Custom Forwarding Division due to they constantly have to work very closely with the Local Port Authority (PKA) and Royal Customs of Malaysia in ensuring hassle-free operations.
Aside from that, they also have other business divisions/ partners in handling the cargo transferring, and door delivery cargoes from all over the world.
Job Scopes
•To provide the full spectrum of executive assistance in terms of finance, corporate work, administrative, and secretarial support to Director.
•To assist in drafting letters, memorandums, preparation of presentation, and minutes of meetings.
•To assist in budgetary and cash flow planning.
•Provide payroll processing. Answer questions regarding payroll.
•Provide quarterly tax reports and filing.
•To assist in corporate planning exercise.
•To plan and manage Director’s schedule for meeting, appointment, travel, accommodation arrangement, and expenses claiming.
•Manage any actions to ensure items are actioned on a timely basis and payments are processed efficiently and are compliant with policy. Be able to challenge when necessary and advise on most cost-effective way.
•To manage and process Director’s expenses claims.
•To deal with incoming correspondences.
•Liaison with bankers and other external parties, where necessary.
•To undertake special assignments, ad-hoc functions and related duties as and when required.
Job Requirements
•Proficient in Microsoft Office software;
•Familiar with SQL Accounting Software;
•At least 3 years of working experience on Finance/ Accounting field. Having prior experience of working in similar industry would be a plus point!
•Good command in both written and spoken in English. (Those with good command in Mandarin-speaking will have an added advantage.)
•Good coordination, planning, and well-organized in carrying out daily duties and responsibilities with high integrity and interpersonal skills.
•A flexible, team worker with pleasant and positive attitude.
•Ability to work calmly under pressure and able to deal with regularly conflicting priorities.
•Respect of confidentiality is essential in this role.
