Job Scopes

• Source / identify investment opportunities and manage the incoming deal flow (lots of calls and discussions with entrepreneurs)
• Conduct strategic primary and secondary research on relevant industries, trends and companies. Summarize and present your findings in concise and impactful reports, and build investment thesis
• Perform due diligence on potential investees and structure an investment plan into the company
• Support portfolio companies’ needs by connecting relevant resources, strategic planning and expansion initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Required Languages: Mandarin and English
• At least 3-4 years of experience working in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, management consulting, financial services or a startup
• Strong in financial, accounting and presentation skills
• Excellent analytical skills (you are required to analyze a company on their financials, products, markets, team dynamics, asking the right questions about the company, form a structured thought process/overview on subject matters etc.)
• Strong computer skills including proficiency in Office Suites, G-Suite and digital tools involved in deal sourcing, deal assessment and market research
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the capability of taking initiatives, working autonomously, rolling up their sleeves and getting the job done
• A self-motivated and driven individual, able to work independently and also with a team
• Passion for new technologies and learning emerging business models
• Excellent organizational skills with a “self-starter” mentality and strong attention to detail
• Creative problem-solvers who thrive in unstructured environments
• Be highly inquisitive and relentless in identifying emerging trends
• Be constructively paranoid about missing out on the best emerging teams and companies
